What is a 65-character line?+
A 65-character line (sometimes called a VBC or AAMT line) is the industry-standard billing unit for medical transcription. It counts every visible character including spaces in the finished document, then divides by 65.
How much does virtual scribing cost?+
Virtual scribing is priced per provider hour or per encounter and depends on specialty, volume, and turnaround. Most practices land between $9 and $14 per encounter. Contact us for a tailored quote.
